Welcome to Furudal and the parish of Ore

You have come to one of Dalarna´s parishes, the parish of Ore in Rättvik´s municipality. 

Here you will see forests, lakes and mountains in combination with agricultural districts. In this parish there are about 1 300 inhabitants and an area of 882,1 square kilometres. 

Most of them live in Furudal and the villages of Näset, Arvet, Dalbyn, Sörboda, Norrboda, Sunnanhed, Östanvik, Dalfors and Håven. 

Here there are many opportunities for outdoor pursuits like bathing, walking in the woods, fishing, hunting, skiing and berry picking.
